Who are you?
I am a geek who is really passionate about consumer web startups.
What’s your background?
I founded Alertle.com, a web-based personalized news reader which “makes RSS easy”. Its been one of the most reviewed web apps from Canada and got picked up in about 100 countries around the world. Besides, I am pursuing a BS in Computer Science at the University of Toronto and have worked for another Toronto startup before and also in the technology group of Merrill Lynch Canada. I have also been an active volunteer with the local chapter of TiE, which is focused on promoting entrepreneurship.
Why are you writing for Techvibes?
Techvibes provides a great platform for me to share ideas, news and views from the Toronto tech community. For someone like me who loves software, startups and blogging, it is a great medium!
Why should I care what you have to say?
I don’t mince words and tend to talk about things which genuinely offer some value to readers. That combined with my insight and experience with web startups should make for interesting reading
