Walmart Canada had a digital marketing vision. But they didn't have a firm to properly execute it.

However, after a "competitive review," Walmart has found its knight in shining armour. Keeping it Canadian, the company chose Toronto-based Twist image, whose president is the famous Mitch Joel.

“After seeing Twist Image’s vision for digital marketing with Walmart Canada, the choice was unanimous,” said Walmart Canada Senior Vice President, Marketing Emma Fox. “We understand the nature of this highly connected consumer, and we believe Twist Image shares this vision and is the right partner for Walmart Canada in delivering on our vision to use all things Web, mobile and social media to help Canadians save money so they can live better.”

“We are honoured to have been chosen by Walmart Canada,” said Twist Image President, Mitch Joel. “Walmart Canada has a tremendous opportunity to demonstrate excellence in all of the digital spheres and Twist Image is excited to help them lead the way. Twist Image has spent more than a decade growing, adding new services and staying at the vanguard of the marketing evolution. This is a tremendous opportunity to create more engaging ways for Canadians to experience the Walmart brand.”
