London, Ontario's Voices.com is a site that connects businesses with professional voice talents.
Radio and television stations, advertising agencies, and Fortune 500 companies rely on their online marketplace to search for, audition, and hire voice talents. And they make it possible for marketers and advertising agencies to find voices for their projects straight from their smartphone. First with a mobile app for iOS, Voices.com is now available for Android devices.
The Voices mobile app for Android will allow clients to search a database of 75,000 voice actors. Users can also post a job, review price quotes, and listen to custom auditions all from their mobile devices.
"In addition to helping businesses find voices to get the job done, the Voices.com Android app also gives professional voice actors the opportunity to audition for jobs," said David Ciccarelli, Voices.com cofounder and CEO. The technology, known as VoiceMatch, matches voice actor profiles with businesses looking to hire via the app.
In other news, Voices.com is spending the next three months with the Canadian Technology Accelerator at Rocket Space in San Francisco.
