Canadian Undergraduate Technology Conference (CUTC) returns next week to Toronto for its 10th edition. Started by some University of Waterloo students, it is now the largest student-run conference in the country.
CUTC ’09 is taking place from March 12th – 13th at the Hilton, and would feature keynotes from executives from OpenText, Rypple and Engineers Without Borders. In addition, there would be various panel discussions, interactive workshops and exhibitions focused on upcoming technologies. A design competition called “TechTeam” would be held as well where teams of delegates would develop and present innovative solutions to real world case-study style problems.
It is a great opportunity for students to network with potential employers and learn / grow further in their profession. Several universities/departments are subsidizing the registration fees of $100 for their students (check CUTC’s website at www.cutc.ca for details). Techvibes is a media sponsor of CUTC and would be covering the event as well.
