Tomorrow, January 20th, the Centre for Social Innovation is hosting a forward-thinking event on “Building Social Capital.” For many, the term is unfamiliar and therefore an important learning as we delve deeper into harnessing the power of community. Opposingly for some, the term holds variable meanings and is an important topic for discourse. Whatever the case, this event, which will be led and moderated by Rob Campbell of SMOjoe social media, will get granular with regards to the fundamentals of online marketing and branding.
Facilitated by City Events, the event promises to address some timely and pertinent questions such as, “How do I increase traffic to my blog, if it’s stuck behind thousands of meaningless pages?”
Rob Campbell will work with you to demonstrate the various ways in which you can utilize the power of search and increase your overall page rankings online. In other words, this truly is the opportunity to dive into “Online Marketing 101 and the Business of Blogging”.
Billed as an interactive event that allows attendees to blog and tweet with SMOjoe, event organizers have expressed that participants can learn how to escape the online funnel and avoid negative press about their organization or product. Rob will also engage in some niche strategies and tactics, many of which will be brand new to a large number of participants.
