The definitive digital event for marketers, webmasters and search engine marketers is returning to Canada. Search Engine Strategies Toronto is scheduled for June 9th – 11th at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Toronto. Now in its 7th year, SES Toronto is organized and programmed in cooperation with Andrew Goodman, the SES Advisory Board and SearchEngineWatch.com.
The event kicks off on Day One with a keynote by Peter Morville, President of Semantic Studios. Morville is best known for helping to create the discipline of information architecture. His bestselling books include Information Architecture for the World Wide Web and Ambient Findability. Morville’s latest book, Search Patterns, was published by O’Reilly Media in January 2010.
Day Two starts with a keynote by Google Senior Developer Programs Engineer Maile Ohye. As a developer programs tech lead, Ohye coordinates Google Webmaster Central outreach efforts, including the Webmaster Central Blog. Previously, Ohye was a systems integration consultant for several pharmaceutical and technology companies, as well as for the Department of Defense. She earned a B.A. in cognitive science with a computer science emphasis from the University of California at Berkeley.
