MoboVivo’s CEO Trevor Doerksen blogged today that myScreens is being customized for one a Fortune 500 US company in order to deliver a mobile app solutions to their 60 Million customers.
Doerksen isn’t willing to divulge too much detail other than that the Calgary-based company’s integrated video and app distribution system will be customized to power a specially branded white-label solution in mid-2011.
The immediate revenue will drive short-term growth for MoboVivo and its products. The long-term revenue opportunity is significant given the marketing and sales power into the enterprise that the new agreement provides.
myScreens, compatible with multiple mobile operating systems, is an important capability being leveraged in the agreement, its next-generation end-to-end app and video architecture provides the ability to manage devices, content, users and apps. Enterprise-level security, distribution, and management will be added to myScreens as will suites of mobile solutions to be marketed and sold through the new sales channel.
myScreens enables its enterprise customers to deliver and monetize apps and content to more types of screens, using a single cloud-based infrastructure.
