The BC Technology Industry Association (BCTIA) announced today that Howard Donaldson has joined its Centre4Growth CEO-in-Residence Program.

Most recently Donaldson served as Vice President, Studio Operations for Disney Interactive Studios, and the interactive business unit of The Walt Disney Company.

Ironically Donaldson started his gaming career with Disney Interactive in Los Angeles before joining Electronic Arts in Vancouver. After leaving EA, Donaldson co-founded Propaganda Games which was subsequently acquired by Disney. Disney closed Propaganda Games last month.

As a CEO-in-Residence (CIR) Donaldson joins a team of high-level executives who coach tech entrepreneurs on a variety of company issues. The Centre4Growth CEOs-in-Residence program is available to tech entrepreneurs of all sectors, at no cost.

Neil McDonnell and Bill Tam, in Vancouver, and Rob Bennett, in Victoria, currently fill the CEO-in-Residence roster working collaboratively with Acetech, Wavefront Accelerator Centre, Discovery Parks Vancouver Generator, and Victoria Island Tech Park.

Over 60 tech companies have been receiving coaching services since the Centre4Growth launch in September 2010.
