Google I/O brings together thousands of developers for two days of deep technical content, focused on building the next generation of web, mobile, and enterprise applications with Google and open web technologies such as Android, Google Chrome, Google APIs, Google Web Toolkit, App Engine, and more.
This year’s Google I/O takes place on May 10/11 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
Demand for Google I/O is huge (it sold out in 59 minutes) and as a result it gets streamed to regional Google offices so more developers can attend select sessions for free.
Google’s Waterloo office will be hosting a free Google I/O Extended event on May 10th and it will be combined with additional sessions from local Canadian Googlers. It promises to be a casual event for developers to mingle and learn about new development and mobile technologies.
It’s first come, first serve and they’re serving food so it is likely to fill up quickly. Register online.
