Major magazine Canadian Business recently published its annual list of Companies We Love, the 50 Canadian brands that Canadians feel positively toward.
In spite of increased competition from Apple and Google, weak reviews for the PlayBook, and overall skepticism that the company has what it takes to remain a powerhouse, Waterloo’s Research in Motion made a remarkable climb from 8th spot into the top 5, proving that Canadian’s faithfulness to the pioneering BlackBerry devices is unwavering.
Squeezing into the top 50 were Rogers, Telus, and Bell, who don’t have the best reputations for fairness but nonetheless made the list in roughly the same spots as last year. Maybe we’re just short on brands in Canada.
