Techvibes is a media sponsor of the upcoming GROW Conference in Vancouver and will be highlighting the 15 Canadian startups that are selected to showcase at the conference’s opening reception at Launch @ GROW on August 17th.
Vancouver’s Hoseanna is one of the fifteen startups that has been selected and may be one of four chosen to pitch live on stage at the GROW Conference on August 18th.
Think “the Netflix of nuisance products” for women. Hoseanna automates the delivery of stuff women have to (but hate to) buy. Hoseanna brings convenience, discretion, and even some fun, to the somewhat mundane chore of shopping for ‘everyday stuff’ like tampons, nylons, razors and even condoms.
Hoseanna provides one-stop shopping for personal essentials, delivering monthly “must haves” with the ease busy women want, and on the schedule that fits their needs. With a few clicks, Hoseanna customers can shop from a curated collection of trusted brands in pantyhose, intimacy, feminine care and health & beauty; pick the auto-ship schedule that fits their needs; and strike one bold line through their endless to-do list.
To help cut through the overwhelming assortment of products that bombard women daily, Hoseanna offers users a thoughtfully curated collection of top selling brands, recommended by trusted lifestyle magazine such as Allure and Real Simple. Once the woman has selected her go-to items, she simply sets her auto-ship schedule (currently every 2 or 3 months), and Hoseanna does the rest, shipping a branded box (that includes a monthly surprise treat) straight to her door.
Hoseanna is the brainchild of former corporate executives Katrina Carroll-Foster and Tracey Solomon and has received angel funding from the Initio Group.
