Techvibes TV: Kiip’s Brian Wong on monetizing casual games

Today Marketing Magazine continued highlighting Canada’s Digital Media Companies to Watch and added Wave Accounting, WatchMojo.com, Tynt, and Kiip to their watch list.

All four companies are definitely worth watching but only three of them are Canadian.

Kiip was founded by Vancouverite teen phenom Brian Wong but it has never called Canada home. The San Francisco based startup has raised over $4 Million in funding and now employees 18.

Founder Brian Wong is not camera shy (we interviewed him last year) and Techvibes’ Michelle Sklar sat down with him last month at the GROW 2011 Conference in his hometown. Now 20, if you have been following Wong’s rise to fame you will notice that Silicon Valley has matured him over the past couple years.
