Meshwest visits Edmonton and Vancouver this fall

In June the Mesh Conference folks made their way out to Calgary with meshwest and now it’s Edmonton and Vancouver’s turn.

What’s meshwest? I’ll let the five mesh founders explain:

When we started mesh in 2006, our goal was to create a Canadian event where people could discuss how the Web is changing how we live, work and play. It’s taken a while but we’re excited about taking mesh to Western Canada, starting with a one-day event in Calgary. The move to Western Canada reflects how communities across the country are enthusiastically embracing and leveraging the Web. Like mesh, meshwest is focused on providing insight and stimulating conversations about media, society, marketing and business. Led by opinion leaders and entrepreneurs, meshwest is an opportunity to have thought-provoking and engaging conversations in which the attendees are involved as much as the speakers.

If you are excited about the Web, looking to gain more insight and enhance your knowledge of what’s happening now and what’s over the horizon, you should attend meshwest.

Among the scheduled speakers for Edmonton are Ali Asaria of Well.ca, Dups Wijayawardhana of hometown hero Empire Avenue, and Jevon MacDonald of the newly launched GoInstant. The Vancouver lineup of speakers is still being confirmed but so far includes Hiten Shah of KissMetrics.

meshwest comes to Edmonton on October 4th and to Vancouver on December 5th. Early-bird tickets are now on sale for $239 – register online.
