Montreal’s Nurun announced this morning the closing of the acquisition of Odopod, a leading digital agency based in San Francisco.
Nurun Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Quebecor Media Inc., one of Canada’s largest media and telecommunications companies, with more than 16,000 employees.
With a multi- disciplinary team of over 60 employees, Odopod has deep expertise combining brand marketing and interactive product development for a diverse client roster that includes Google, Electronic Arts, Tesla Motors and Sony Electronics, among others.
The acquisition adds a significant U.S. presence to Nurun’s global network and access to Silicon Valley’s culture of innovation. “Odopod is a unique company – one that thinks like a start-up, understands brands like an advertising agency, and creates products and software like an innovation shop.
