Lululemon Founder becomes Pixar’s landlord in Gastown

According to Matthew Carlson of Colliers Lululemon founder Chip Wilson has entered the commercial real estate game with an investment in Gastown. That alone isn’t worthy of coverage on Techvibes but Wilson’s tenants at 21 Water Street make it a little more interesting.

The heritage building is the home of the Pixar Canada‘s 30,000 square foot Vancouver studio. While this building was meant to be a temporary location while they searched for more space, Pixar has been able to carve out the additional square footage to put down roots.

21 Water Street is also home to domain registrar and social gaming upstart Vivity Labs.
