The internet is one of the most impacting creations of our time. We know it’s historied past. But what is its future?

Today, seasoned experts from across Canada will converge at the Canadian Internet Forum to discuss this very topic. Hosted by The Canadian Internet Registration Authority, this event will feature such names as Dr. Michael Geist, the activists law professor from the University of Ottawa, and Robert Herjavec, the Canadian entrepreneur, author, and star of CBC’s Dragons’ Den and ABC’s Shark Tank. Sessions will include “Opportunities and challenges for the Canadian Internet” and “Perspectives on international Internet governance.”

“As digital citizens, we have not only a right to have our voice heard, but a duty to use that voice,” said CIRA’s president and CEO Byron Holland. “The CIF provides that venue by providing Canadians with the opportunity to engage in a dialogue about how the Internet should develop.”
