TwoHoursNorth Makes Finding and Renting a Cottage Easier

Whether you’re travelling from Toronto to Muskoka, Ottawa to The Laurentians, Montreal to Mont Tremblant, or Vancouver to Whistler, the road trips all have something in common. The driving times and direction are approximately two hours North.

And with summer right around the corner, there is little doubt that trips like these are on the minds of many.

Enter Toronto’s TwoHoursNorth. Now, finding and renting a cottage, cabin or chalet has just become much easier with the launch last week of their free online rental and management tool for property owners.

TwoHoursNorth aims to provide property owner and renters with an easy-to-use tool to actively manage listings and vacations as well as creating a safe and secure community.

For renters, finding the perfect rental has never been easier. With a comprehensive focus on filters, renters can refine their searches using a robust map search while managing their pending, accepted and rejected bookings in their vacation profile. Renters can also search by vacation experience such as golfing, fishing or skiing trip.

Owners will also find the upload and auto management tools quick and easy to use as well as free from any commission or fees (for property owners).

TwoHoursNorth currently collects a 20% deposit from Guests at the time of the booking and charges renters a small service fee (6-10%).  TwoHoursNorth is in beta and currently only available in Ontario.

TwoHoursNorth was co-founded by Adam Brind, Matthew Quinn, and Luke Canning and is currently working with an unnamed Toronto-based incubator on their first round of funding and acceleration.
