See here for how ridiculously cheap the BlackBerry PlayBook has become since debuting last year with a price tag of $500-plus.
Then read below to be shocked by the fact that, somehow, it has managed to become even cheaper—again (again).
Walmart’s upcoming anniversary sale will see RIM’s 32GB tablet go on sale for $118—yes, $118. That’s a new-new low, almost as low as the temporary $99 employee pricing RIM offered earlier this year. So low that it’s beyond unprofitable, possibly even cheaper than the raw cost of the parts it was assembled with.
DON’T MISS: This smartphone manufacture is open to using BB10.
At $118, will consumers finally buy RIM’s misbegotten device? Probably not.
