With so many talented entrepreneurs and innovative startups in Canada, Techvibes deemed it a necessity to recognize, honour, and celebrate these people and their companies. Presented by KPMG, the Canadian Startup Awards do just that.

This year, Techvibes received well over 1,200 nominations across the six categories via comments, email, tweets, and our nomination form. Finalists were determined by you, our readers, with guidance from the editorial team. In the case of the Best Overall Startup category, we allowed six finalists.

Voting is open until 11:59pm PST on Friday, January 25 and the winners will be announced on Monday, January 28. One vote per person.
