Jobpostings.ca has acquired Canadian startup Fanfare for an undisclosed sum.
Fanfare is based in the Ryerson Digital Media Zone, which opened in Toronto in 2010.
“I’m proud of the product we’ve built and the success we’ve achieved with fanfare,” said Christopher Alleyne, CEO of Fanfare, on the company’s website. “With the scale and resources of Jobpostings.ca, I’m confident fanfare users will experience some big enhancements over the coming months.”
“Fanfare did an amazing job creating an innovative product that helped organizations and students connect in unique ways,” Nathan Laurie, president of Jobpostings.ca, added. “With fanfare joining Jobpostings.ca, we plan to build on that success by providing even more opportunities to existing and future users.”
According to the startup, Fanfare “will continue to be supported” by Jobpostings.ca, affirming that there will be “no cancellation of service.”
Founded in 2010, Fanfare connects employers to Canada’s universities to provide entry-level, co-op, and internship opportunities to students.
