Canadian entrepreneurs 35 or younger will want to apply for BDC Canada’s Young Entrepreneur Award.
The award includes a grand prize worth $100,000, with second place raking in $25,000 in consulting services.
There are less than seven days left to apply for the award, which challenges entrepreneurs to “describe a turning point your business has reached and propose a solution to take it to the next level.”
“Consulting services can directly help young entrepreneurs overcome challenges. Many local entrepreneurs are looking at the latest trends in order to grow their business, whether that’s driving more online traffic through mobile marketing, content marketing, social media advertising and Internet campaigns, or building genuine business connections or partnerships and expanding their customer base,” BDC explains.
Last year, Zane Kelsall won the grand prize for his business, Two if By Sea Café in Halifax. He says the award boosted his business greatly.
“Since winning the 2012 BDC Young Entrepreneur Award last June, the entire team has been working hard to bring the project to life,” Kelsall says. “Winning the BDC 2012 Young Entrepreneur Award is helping us build our brand in Canada and abroad.”
