Toronto-based Wattpad, a community for reading and sharing stories, this morning announced a partnership with Harlequin Enterprises, a publisher of romance fiction, for an exclusive early launch of Shadow, a paranormal young adult novella from teen romance writer Amanda Sun.
Wattpad made the announcement at BookExpoAmerica. Other big names who have recently begun working with Wattpad include New York Times bestselling author Meg Cabot, along with self-publishing pioneer Amanda Hocking who has started a book club and posted a free novella, Forgotten Lyrics, as she ramps up promotion for Tidal, the third book in her Watersong series.
Sun has been active on Wattpad releasing new chapters from Shadow each week throughout May.

Amanda Sun’s debut book INK will be will be released in July.
