In May Techvibes reported that a lack of local funding was forcing Canadian technology startups to seek foreign investors.
According to a Wavefront report, a “scarcity of investment funding in Canada tops the list of reasons why successful Canadian companies seek out foreign investors, particularly in the US.”
But who can Canadian entreprenuers look to outside of Canada for investment dollars? Probably best to reach out to investors that have experience investing in the Great White North before.
