Apple’s newly released iOS 7 is by far the biggest chance it’s ever made to its mobile operating system. To adapt, brands have had to dramatically change their own apps to reflect Apple’s new design.
Canadian-made apps have been no exception to this change. Frank & Oak, in addition to launching a new mobile app for Android, this week updated its iPad app for iOS, adding a variety of features including offline access to The Edit and The Hound. To celebrate, the company is offering customers 20% off their purchases today and tomorrow using checkout discount codes Android20 and iPad20.
Other popular Canadian startup apps that have been updated include social media dashboard HootSuite and Kashoo, a small business accounting app, which not only updated its aesthetic but also added new features such as Quick Entry, which reduces the amount of information users need to input in order to record an income or an expense transaction.
