Yesterday, six incubated startups pitched at a competitive event hosted by the National Angel Capital Organization.

The startups were Transit App from FounderFuel; Viromo from Innovate Calgary; Liberate from MaRS; SqueezeCMM from Extreme Startups; TopLog from Launch 36; and Farm at Hand from GrowLab.

The Vancouver-based Farm at Hand won the pitch competition, which will grant them superior access to angel funding and support.

“Congrats to for winning the national NACO pitch competition,” tweeted Dominique Belanger of BDC VC following the event.

The Canadian company is innovating the farm management software space. The software, available for free as an app or on the web, is compatible with any computer and smartphone device. It helps farmers manage field lists, commodity storage, equipment, utilities, and more.
