10 founding partners have created an international exchange program called Startup Exchanges.
Among the founding partners are three Canadian accelerators: Vancouver’s Launch Academy, Montreal’s FounderFuel, and Montreal’s Execution Labs. That makes Canada the most represented country for the program, which includes accelerators from Shanghai, Berlin, and Tel Aviv.
The goal of the global group is to give startups plotting international launches an opportunity for closer contact with the business ecosystem in the market they hope to enter.
Startups in the program will be given office space for one month, plus introductions to key contacts in the local market.
Currently, the program can accept up to 50 startups.
