EY’s 2014 Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards program launched this week.
People can now nominate the CEOs of Canadian companies three years or older. Award winners will be chosen based on their vision, entrepreneurial spirit, leadership, financial success and social responsibility. The 2014 World Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards will be held June 4 to 8 in Monte Carlo, Monaco.
“Canada’sbest entrepreneurs thrive when the economy is up and down,” says Colleen McMorrow, EY partner and National Entrepreneur Of The Year program director. “They defy the odds, defy the impossible and defy everyone who told them they couldn’t achieve results.”
EY’s Entrepreneur Of The Year is a unique award that makes a difference through the way it encourages entrepreneurial activity among those with potential, and recognizes the contribution of people who inspire others with their vision, leadership and achievement. It celebrates those who are building and leading successful, growing and dynamic businesses, recognizing them through regional, national and global awards programs in more than 145 cities in more than 60 countries.
“Canadian entrepreneurs deserve all the credit we can give them. They continue to elevate the Canadian business landscape by pushing themselves, and those around them, to greater heights,” says McMorrow. “Help us recognize their outstanding achievements and nominate an entrepreneur in your community for our Entrepreneur Of The Year program today.”
