Extreme Startups portfolio company FameBit has been on quite the ride.
Founded by high school friends David Kierzkowski and Agnes Kozera, FameBit is “a marketplace that makes it easy for businesses to find, hire, and work with YouTube influencers for product and service endorsements.”
In February the Toronto-based startup was selected to be part of 500 Startups Batch 8 at their San Francisco accelerator, beating out 1,300 applicants. That same month they were named to the inaugural Techvibes 20 list.
Today Kierzkowski and Kozera revealed that they have raised a $1.5 million seed round from Science Inc., 500Startups. and DeNA.
According to a report in re/code, they’re on track to gross $3 million this year.
