Kelowna startup GetintheLoop announced today that Jeff Keen, the former CEO of Accelerate Okanagan, has joined the company as as President.

GetintheLoop is a membership based mobile marketing company that allows users to “spend less and experience more” at select premium businesses partner locations.

A senior executive, Keen has over 24 years of experience in the technology industry.

Before Keen’s appointment to CEO of Accelerate Okanagan (AO) in 2011, he served as AO’s Programs Director, designing and implementing programs and services to early-stage technology companies.

Through his tenure at AO, Keen has grown the organization to become one of the leading technology accelerators/incubators in the province of BC and throughout western Canada.

“It’s great to have a proven leader with deep experience in the technology sector join our team. Through his vision and leadership, Jeff will help our team execute on the business opportunities that we have worked extremely hard for and ensure we expand into new markets strategically,” stated Matt Crowell, Founder of GetintheLoop.

Keen plans to bring his wealth of knowledge to the GetintheLoop Team through their high growth phase of business development. GetintheLoop released their app for Android and Apple devices this past March. They currently have thousands of paying members who can access promotions from hundreds of businesses.  The team is preparing to launch in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Victoria within the year.
