WIND Mobile this week launched a new mobile app aimed at helping customers keep control over their wireless account.
The app, called “WIND My Account,” is available on Apple and Android, as well as BlackBerry and Windows.
The free app gives WIND Mobile prepaid and postpaid customers the ability to navigate, view and manage their account, including: pay bills, top-up account, monitor phone usage, and change plans altogether. Customers can also view past payment history, setup pre-authorized payments and enable features like international roaming.
“Our customers share the same values as we do when it comes to staying connected,” said Omer Rashid, Chief Customer Officer of WIND. “We know that most Canadians prefer to manage their own account rather than call into a customer service centre and our goal is to empower them to do as much as possible themselves, right from their smartphone or tablet.”
WIND now has more than 700,000 customers.
