Men on Tinder whose thumbs get sore constantly swiping right—beggars can’t be choosers, after all—will surely want a piece of Joel Zhang’s latest pet project.

The Simon Fraser University student created a program that automatically likes every girl he is faced with on Tinder, saving him valuable minutes and opening him up to every possible connection the app offers.

Quoth The Province:

Joel Zhang posted a screenshot of his program Wednesday evening on the SFU Confessions Facebook page with an explanation for why he made it: “I got lazy manually liking everyone on Tinder so I coded a program to automatically do it for me. What am I doing with my life?”

“I was thinking there has to be some way I can do this faster, so what I ended up doing was I used a proxy on my phone,” the 19-year-old explained to the newspaper. “Basically, it tunnels the network connection through my computer so that I could see the data it was sending and receiving from Tinder. My program pretends to be the Tinder app by replicating how the data is sent to automatically like each person.”

Zhang hasn’t actually scored a date through Tinder yet; however, he says he is interested in meeting new women, with or without the app.
