This week a Canada Post delivery person failed to deliver a parcel to Matthew Fane’s door.
The BC resident posted to Twitter Canada Post’s notice left for him, which calmly explains that there was a “bear at door.”

The tweet now boasts nearly 4,000 retweets and almost 3,000 favourites, as well as several dozen replies—including one from Canada Post, who offered to “investigate.”
It’s unknown which type of bear was at Fane’s door. However, given the location in BC, it was likely either a black bear (relatively harmless) or a grizzly bear (significantly more dangerous).
