An initial public offering is indeed on the roadmap for Hootsuite—just not right now.
Ryan Holmes, CEO of the billion-dollar social media management company, told Bloomberg News that the Vancouver firm “has a lot of interest” in an IPO, and that one “may happen in 18-24 months.”
Hootsuite raised $60 million last September and has been rumoured for an IPO for multiple years.
Hootsuite boasts more than 10 million users in over 175 countries, including 744 of the Fortune 1000 companies.
The Canadian company is also currently hiring for more than 100 positions.
