Square Announces First Canadian Collaboration

Edmonton’s Jobber this week announced a new integration with Square, the Silicon Valley bringing mobile payment solutions to small businesses.

Now Jobber customers are able to connect their accounts with Square and collect payment in the field and online, creating a unified payment process, according to the two companies.

“Jobber’s number one priority is to help pave a path to success for our customers. We do that in a lot of ways, and an undeniably critical one is getting paid for work,” explains Sam Pillar, CEO of Jobber. “Partnering with Square is a great step for us in continuing to bring our customers closer to their hard earned cash.”

Jobber is the first Canadian company to collaborate with Square and is available in the Square App Marketplace today.

“Integrating Square with Jobber was flawless,” said David Perry owner of Atomic Auto Salon. “We offer a mobile detailing service so we now have a seamless process between scheduling our work, creating invoices, and accepting payment on the spot.”

Founded in 2011, Jobber has helped thousands of users around the world manage 5.6 million customer visits and send nearly $600 million in invoices.
