Mavencare Uses Technology to Modernize Elder Care in Canada

Using the latest mobile technology, Mavencare provides a new level of transparency, by providing selected family members (and close friends) regular updates to their mobile phone during the home care appointment. These updates include details on a loved one’s activities and well-being, completed tasks such as taking medication, confirmed appointments, as well as delivering photos when appropriate.

Mavencare says its service is unique because its mobile technology connects caregivers (personal support workers), the client receiving the care, and the client’s family, and care requirements are completely flexible so families can order several hours of care, daily or weekly support.
