Cofounder Says Twitter Should Consider Selling Company

Twitter cofounder Ev Williams says the company, which has lost of its market value over the last couple years, should consider all options, including potentially selling or going private.

Williams told Bloomberg that Twitter has the potential to be much more valuable than it is now, but requires more innovation.

It’s clearly what investors want: the only time Twitter’s share price has jumped up is when there is speculation of a potential takeover. Williams’ words, while vague, were no exception—the stock rose 5%.
