Twitter has acquired Yes, an app maker focused on connecting users through events.
Twitter plans to shutter Yes by the end of the year, and while terms of the deal were not disclosed, is appears that most of the Yes team will be joining Twitter. Keith Coleman, who founded Yes in 2014, will become Twitter’s vice president of product. Coleman is a former director of product management at Google.
“When we came together to form Yes, we set out to build products to bring people closer to one another,” says the Yes team. “Our team has always admired Twitter, a product that brings the whole world closer.”
