Nominations Now Open for Sixth Annual Canadian Startup Awards
It’s January. You know what that means. No, not that! We’re talking about the annual Canadian Startup Awards, of course.
The awards, now in their sixth year, are back and bigger than ever, with the addition of six all-new award categories. We’re kicking things off by opening nominations today.
The Canadian Startup Awards celebrate our nation’s deep and diverse pool of talent and innovation in technology. Do your part and nominate someone now.
The Awards’ original five categories were Startup, Entrepreneur, Employer, Angel, and Venture Capital Firm of the Year. This year, we have added New Startup, Social Impact, Hardware, Technology Innovation, Enterprise Transformation, and Mobile App.
Past award winners include Thalmic Labs (Startup, 2013), Shopify (Employer, 2014), and Stewart Butterfield (Entrepreneur, 2014), as well as Real Ventures (VC Firm, 2015), Dan Debow (Angel, 2014), and Wattpad (Startup, 2011).
