Celebrating the Important Role of Angel Investors Through the Canadian Startup Awards

There are more than 3,000 angel investors in Canada. These angels have invested a combined $270 million in local startups over the past four years, according to the National Angel Capital Organization.

Angels are a crucial component of the tech ecosystem, filling a gap between startups barely past the idea stage and those seeking venture capital from major firms.
