Wattpad’s New App, Tap, Allows Users to Create Chat-Style Stories
Wattpad’s latest app, Tap, now has a key new feature: the ability to create.
Tap is a free app for short, chat-style stories, and now users can contribute their own interactive stories.
“The stories unfold via chat messages, as if you’re reading someone’s text conversation,” says Wattpad. “You move the story forward by simply tapping to reveal the next part.”
Wattpad says beyond the text, there are custom story covers and images that can appear behind the chat bubbles.
Wattpad recommends starting with a popular Tap story like Buried Alive or Virtual Boyfriend.
