LinkedIn Reveals the Companies People Most Want to Work For

LinkedIn has released its annual list of Top Companies, a 2017 ranking of “where the world wants to work now.”

“From Amazon to Allergan and Salesforce to Starbucks, this year’s LinkedIn Top Companies represent brands we know and love,” says Daniel Roth, editor-in-chief of LinkedIn. “These 50 companies span 21 industries and employ some 3.3 million workers across the U.S.”

According to Roth, the list is based on billions of actions taken by LinkedIn’s 500 million members and looks at three main pillars: interest in a company’s jobs, interest in a company’s brand and employees, and employee retention.

Alphabet, the parent of Google, ranks first, followed by Amazon and then Facebook. Salesforce and Uber round out the top five, while Tesla and Apple both make the top 10. Airbnb, Netflix, and Twitter also made the list.
